Anton Cla (BE, 1990) is a multimedia artist, filmmaker, and lecturer. He began his journey in the visual arts at a young age with painting and illustration before discovering his true passion for audiovisual work in 2016 while traveling and working in Japan.

In 2018, he started working professionally in animation, primarily on commissioned music videos and visuals using computer animation. In 2022, he completed a master’s degree in animation at the KASK School of Arts in Ghent, Belgium, while simultaneously teaching 3D computer graphics at LUCA School of Arts and Howest University of Applied Sciences.

His work has been screened and awarded at prestigious film festivals such as the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival, DOK Leipzig, Montreal International Festival of New Cinema, Vienna Shorts, Fantoche, Odense, Uppsala, and many others.

En 2024, he was laureat of the Pepinières Emergences Videos prize during the International Video Competition at the 2024 Videoformes festival for his work “CYCLEPATHS,” created in 2023.
