This documentary film (2014) directed by Anne-Laure Chamboissier and Philippe Franck in collaboration with Gilles Coudert is based on interviews with the late poet-performer-artist Bernard Heidsieck and other major figures in sound poetry, (Jean-Pierre Bobillot, Olivier Cadiot, Laurent Cauwet, Anne-James Chaton, Paul-Armand Gette, John Giorno, Fran\u00e7oise Janicot, Arnaud Labelle-Rojoux and Jean-Jacques Lebel) from his personal archives and his family.<\/p>\n
The film is about discovering the singular work of an essential historical figure and too little known of sound poetry and more generally of contemporary art. But also to emphasize the importance of sound poetry (and more particularly the “poetry action” of which Bernard Heidsieck is the inventor) both historically and in its most recent developments. As part of the \u2018Discoveries of the Saint Andr\u00e9\u2019, a.p.r.e.s production (co-producer of the film) presents a cycle of screenings of films in the presence of directors and guests.<\/p>\n

Anne-Laure Chamboissier is a lecturer and curator with expertise in cross-disciplinary contemporary creation, territorial projects, and training for artists.<\/p>\n
In 2013, she founded ChamProjects, a structure primarily dedicated to cross-disciplinary reflection on the subject of sound and its relationship with various disciplines: cinema, visual arts, literature, as well as specific in situ contemporary art projects. She is a member of AICA and C.E.A.<\/p>\n

Art historian, critic, producer and sound\/intermedia artist, Philippe Franck is director \/ founder of Transcultures, Centre of digital and sound cultures based in La Louvi\u00e8re (Belgium).<\/p>\n
He is the artistic director of City Sonic (Mons, Charleroi, Brussels, Louvain-la-Neuve and other Belgian cities) – International Festival of Sound Arts, which he created in 2003, and Transnumeriques Digital Cultures Biennale (Mons, Brussels and associated Belgian cities), which he launched in 2005. In 2012, he has launched the independent label Transonic dedicated to sound art and has produced and edited many sound projects, albums and publications.<\/p>\n
Since 2018, he is also the general director of the European Pepinieres of Creation, an international network facilitating contemporary\/intermedia artists exchanges. He has curated many other international events of contemporary, audio, hybrid and digital arts in Belgium and abroad.<\/p>\n
He is also involved in various conferences, commissions, European projects and writes regularly on these subjects in various Belgian, French and Canadian publications. He also teaches digital arts at Art School Saint-Luc (Brussels) and the sound arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Brussels) and at the Visual Arts School of Mons, Arts2.<\/p>\n
Since 2021, he is also an associated researcher of the hypermedia laboratory CiTu\/Paragraphe at University Paris 8.
