In her exploratory work, both demanding and subtle, she combines new instruments to produce electro-organic sounds, also utilizing her singing voice with a certain softness that contributes to atmospheres as dreamlike as they are mysterious.

In her performances, she explores the physicality of electronic music performance, becoming a body that bridges the human and animal realms, a generator of sounds that are at times ethereal and at other times earthy, enhanced by various sonic objects and effect pedals. She processes live elements such as spoken words, sensory inputs, field recordings gathered during her journey, and synthesized textures, weaving them together intricately.

linktr.ee/tunerple

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Texte Info Prod” module_class=”post-txt post-txt-info” _builder_version=”4.24.0″ hover_enabled=”0″ border_style=”solid” saved_tabs=”all” global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Infos

11.10.2024 | 20:00

Transcultures – Couvent d’Hautrage

6, Place d’Hautrage – 7334 Saint-Ghislain Belgique

5€

transcultures.be

Production

Transcultures, Transonic Label

With the collaboration of Chant des cheveux

As part of a partnership with the European Creation Nurseries under the Korea-Japan Intermedia Summer 2024 program, Joyul will present her innovative performance.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Following her creative residency at Transcultures, Joyul, a Korean sound artist and explorer, presents a performance centered around the daxophone (an invention by German musician Hans Reichel—a wooden tongue mounted on a tripod with contact microphones, played with a bow and a dax, a curved piece of wood, one side of which is fretted) in […]

[31,300,97,122,107,211,2,146,116,99

post-30079","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-all-news-en","category-2024-en","category-agenda-en","category-belgium-en","category-international-en","category-multidisciplinary-en","category-news-en","category-performing-arts-en","category-production-en","category-sound-arts-en
["GET
