Through image manipulation and a melancholic atmospheric writing, the theme of ruin systematically finds its way into her pieces, creating cycles of exhaustion and regeneration.<\/p>\n The nature and landscapes, a central theme, are imbued with concerns related to the upheavals in our environment, its mutations, and the depletion of the world as we know it. A materialistic exploration of solid and liquid states, a sublime aesthetic, reveals a fascination for monumental imagery, coupled with the use of new technologies.<\/p>\n As a vehicle for change, a prism of memory and consciousness, a witness to time; water takes an almost omnipresent place in Elise Vo\u00ebt’s works.<\/p>\n Her installation practice incorporates significant work in the composition, spatialization, and orchestration of her fragments into visual and sonic landscapes, spanning from the microscopic to the monumental scale. Sound and musical writing, relatively recent in Vo\u00ebt’s works, provide a fertile new ground for production, blending kulning, experimental electronic music, metal influences, a scattered practice of various instruments, and ethereal singing.<\/p>\n Her eclectic interests lead her to intersect media and mediums in an experimental creative process, naturally embracing techniques and tools of digital creation. By participating in the “doing together” ethos of the free culture, she uses generative art to create creation paradigms and programming to open up online dialogue spaces. She attaches importance to transmitting these skills and the appropriation of ubiquitous technologies through workshops.<\/p>\n For several years, her research has revolved around the challenges of science fiction and anticipation, which significantly color her laboratory. Above all, her primary focus is on humans, their perception, the activation and stimulation of their senses, and the potential narratives of their becoming.<\/p>\n Currently, alongside Nino Lasne, she is developing the project “An\u00b7hydra\u00b7n” as part of the Digital Arts, Sound Arts, and New Writing Residencies at Ch\u00e2teau Eph\u00e9m\u00e8re, Carri\u00e8res-sous-Poissy. This project is a recipient of the production grant from Transcultures \/ European Pepinieres of Creation, whose partnership allows her to showcase “Transmutation” in their Emergences Sonores selection at the Zone Libre sound arts festival in Bastia in 2023.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image
