The European Pepinieres of Creation are very happy<\/span><\/span><\/span> to continue its partnership with Usmaradio for the TACTUS Radio Festival 2023, an international project dedicated to radiophonic art. Within the spaces of the Antico Monastero Santa Chiara, the festival will offer three days of listening art open to the public: soundscapes, storytelling, roundtable discussions, performances, live radio broadcasts, and podcasts.<\/p>\n

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with several national and international figures from the institutional and independent radio scene, podcasting, and sound arts.<\/p>\n

Some of the festival’s contributions will be part of a publication edited by Usmaradio and scheduled for release in Italian and English in 2024. This manual will focus on radiophonic art and experimental radio, presenting insights from those involved in radio creation on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

Usmaradio (It)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The University Radio of the Republic of San Marino, Usmaradio, was founded and directed by Roberto Paci Dal\u00f2 in collaboration with Alessandro Renzi, involving students and teachers \u2013 within the spaces of the Antico Monastero Santa Chiara. Since 2021, Usmaradio has served as the Research Center for Radio Studies at the University of San Marino.<\/p>\n

Usmaradio runs a 24\/7 program schedule featuring guests from various parts of the globe (Europe, United States, China, India, etc.). It also broadcasts live programs via applications allowing for the management of micro radio studios hosted by smartphones.<\/p>\n

Students, professors, and staff collaboratively experiment and create a space for interdisciplinary encounters, where art, science, and nature intertwine in daily practice. Designers, artists, scientists, researchers, inventors, hackers, educators, journalists, economists, historians, cartographers, activists – all converge within this unique radio environment conceived as a showcase space, regularly featuring exhibitions focused on sound, in partnership with local and international entities.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Usmaradio serves as a workspace for the School of Radio, fostering innovative radio pedagogy: workshops, work sessions, meetings, live performance presentations, all constitute integral components of the comprehensive project.<\/p>\n
