The idea of the Sulfure Festival was born from a first concert organized by Indie Rock Ma<\/a>\/IRM (magazine of contemporary music) and Des Cendres \u00e0 la Cave<\/a> au Vent Se L\u00e8ve, a third place of art and culture in the 19th arrondissement of the Paris.<\/p>\n

This first successful experience gave the organizers the desire to go further, with the eclecticism and sometimes excessive passion that characterizes them to give an event dedicated to singular music.<\/p>\n

The artists Christophe Bailleau and Aidan Baker are invited to the Sulfure Festival (Paris) for a “transculturelle” evening that is both ambient, intimate and contrasting.<\/p>\n

With the Canadian, who has already met twice during Sulfure concerts (the first solo in 2019, the second with the BOW Quintet ensemble a few months later for a creation that has never yet been put on record), each stage experience is unique, largely improvised and never quite as expected… three-quarters of an hour of pure inspiration which could, each time, be the subject of a recording in its own right.<\/p>\n
