In the fall of 2021, he asked his accomplice Paradise Now (Philippe Franck with whom he created the Pastoral audio-visual project) to choose some of them and read them (sometimes adapting them slightly for the oral ). For this EP material grown out from this spontaneous project (an album and a book will follow in 2022), each partner electronic, ambient, hybrid music&#8230; which makes each text a cinematic sketch for the ears.<\/p>\n<p>This production is part of the \u2018No Lockdown Sonopoetics\u2019 initiative (initiated by Transcultures and the European Pepinieres of Creation in the spring of 2020) and more particularly its &#8220;Confined correspondence&#8221; section which elicits, supports and disseminates writings, words and sonic hyphens by international artists who evoke, each in their own unique way, existences and imaginations in these viral times.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Bio artiste&#8221; module_class=&#8221;artistTextBlock&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.0&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Christophe Bailleau<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"spb_content_element col-sm-12 post-artists-bio-txt spb_text_column\">\n<div class=\"spb-asset-content\">\n<p>The Transdisciplinary artist Christophe Bailleau develops an acoustic musical composition with electronic soundscapes, guitar, percussion and voice (some pieces are post-folk ballads) mixed with concrete sounds. His works play on waiting, silence and tension, and also searches for a certain light.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2004, his compositions have been published on various European labels: Le cri de la harpe, Stilll, Carte postale, Eglantine, Annexia, Soundscaping, Optical Sound, Transonic\u2026<\/p>\n<p>He also regularly produces videos, installations, radio creations and has just published two books of poetic fragments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Bio artiste&#8221; module_class=&#8221;artistTextBlock&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.0&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Paradise Now<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"spb_content_element col-sm-12 post-artists-bio-txt spb_text_column\">\n<div class=\"spb-asset-content\">\n<p>Intermedia producer and creator based in Belgium, <a href=\"http:\/\/philippefranck.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/philippefranck.eu\">Philippe Franck<\/a> has developed since the 90s the Paradise Now project which favors an actively transversal and collaborative approach. He favors a sensitive and cinematic approach that embraces different influences and fields (electronics, sound art, post-rock, post-pop, improvised music \u2026).<\/p>\n<p>He has worked closely with various videographers (R\u00e9gis Cotentin, Hanzel &amp; Gretzel), poets (Ira Cohen, Gerard Malanga, Catrine Godin, Biba Sheikh, Werner Moron in Les ours bipolaires, Eric Therer for the project &amp; Stuff), choreographers (Nadine Ganase , Manon Oligny, Karine Ledoyen), digital artists (Philippe Boisnard, Franck Soudan, Jacques Urbanska, Thomas Isra\u00ebl) and other adventurous audio creators (recently Christophe Bailleau within the duo Pastoral, Gauthier Keyaerts in Supernova, Stephan Dunkelman, Maurice Charles JJ, A Limb).<\/p>\n<p>Since 2005, he has also collaborated with holistic performer \/ masseuse Isa Belle for a series of installations and \u201csound\u201d performances shown in numerous festivals, cultural centers and international events.
