Seeking out absence by wanting to see what once was and is no longer, capturing lingering marks and traces and bringing them back to life through sounds and images. Florence Defawes<\/a> (laureat: MAP residence Langage Plus 2019<\/a>) collects clues among objects that once belonged to those now gone and in places from which they have vanished.<\/p>\n By installing them in a new setting, she seeks to chronicle their story by inventing another through audiovisual or multimedia installations.
